Unlike operations that rely on field rotations and luck, Estancia Las Palomas is built around a simple philosophy: success comes from scouting. We monitor feeding fields, roosts, flyways, and blind locations before every hunt and adjust daily based on real-time bird movement, weather, and crop activity.
Morning hunts begin after breakfast and run roughly three hours before returning to the estancia for lunch and relaxation. Afternoon hunts follow the same format during peak bird movement. You are guaranteed the opportunity to shoot a minimum of 500 shells in both sessions — no matter how far the birds are from the lodge.

When is the best time to hunt doves in Córdoba?
Córdoba holds resident eared-dove populations year-round, so there is no true off-season — exceptional shooting is available in every month. Our team will help you choose dates around your schedule and any add-on trips.
How many birds or shells can I expect?
We guarantee the opportunity to shoot at least 500 shells in each of the morning and afternoon sessions. Many guests shoot considerably more; volume depends on your pace and conditions — it's easy to join the 1,000 or 2,000 club.
Do I need to bring a shotgun and ammunition?
No. A premium shotgun is prepared and waiting at your blind, and ammunition is stocked on site. Gun rental and shells are billed separately from the package.
How do I get to the lodge?
Fly into Córdoba (COR). The estancia is just over an hour from the airport, and airport transfers are arranged based on your package.
